Less famous than other Beatles songs but beautiful nonetheless. The arrangement is very simple but it’s written for an alto kalimba tuned in A minor. *6 and *7 denote low A and low B.

7 1° 7 6 5 4 6 5 3 2 6 1 *7
I once had a girl Or should I say she once had me
7 1° 7 6 5 4 6 5 3 2 6 1 *7
She showed me her room Isn’t it good Norwegian wood?
3 7 7 7 7 6 6 6 5 5 6 5 6
She asked me to stay And she told me to sit anywhere
*7 7 7 7 7 6 6 6 5 5 6 5 6
So I looked around And I noticed there wasn’t a chair
7 1° 7 6 5 4 6 5 3 2 6 1 *7
I sat on a rug biding my time Drinking her wine
7 1° 7 6 5 4 6 5 3 2 6 1 *7
We talked until two and then she said “It’s time for bed”
